B·Crèdits: Microcredits of €12,500 guaranteed by Barcelona City Council to reactivate the economy

The Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF), the Mutual Guarantee Society of Catalonia (Avalis SGR) and the Barcelona City Council, through Barcelona Activa, are launching a thousand microcredits of 12,500 euros to support micro-SMEs and self-employed workers in the city economically affected by the covid-19. The loans are for a fixed amount of 12,500 euros to be repaid in five years, with the first year of grace and a variable interest rate (Euribor at twelve months + 1.85%). This means, considering the current conditions of the Euribor, an approximate monthly costs in the first year of 20 euros and a return fee from the second year of 271 euros. The microcredits can be ordered from October 5.

'Crea Feina, Barcelona!': Grants to promote employment

The program offers grants of 5,000 euros to hire unemployed people registered in the city of Barcelona. Contracts must be for a minimum of six months (or indefinite) and full-time.

€300 aid to self-employed people in Barcelona most affected by COVID-19, either because they have seen their sales fall by more than 75% or because they have had to close their business. The purpose of this aid is to complement the Extraordinary Economic Benefit promoted by the Spanish Government. It can be applied for from May 20 to September 30.

Plans for business reactivation 'Rethinking'
